Supporting Buffalo Businesses Through Sponsorship
Our 2026 Hope Totes Golf Tournament story

Sometimes the best way to promote your business is to help someone else's cause.
At Holy Cow Promo, we talk a lot about making brands memorable. But every once in a while, it's nice to put the sales pitch aside and support something happening right here in Buffalo.
That's what we did this summer when we sponsored the 2026 Hope Totes Golf Tournament. And, because we're Holy Cow Promo, we couldn't just write a check and put our logo on a sign. We had to have a little fun with it.

Hope Totes Golf Tournament — June 15, 2026
A Buffalo event worth getting behind
The Hope Totes Golf Tournament brought people together around a great cause, and we were happy to be one of the businesses supporting it.
For us, sponsorship wasn't just about getting our name in front of golfers. It was about helping make the event a little more memorable.
That's where the promotional-product side of our brain kicked in.

Golf balls and tees seemed like a pretty safe place to start.
But instead of throwing them into a generic plastic bag with a logo slapped on it, we created custom Hope Totes Golf Tournament bags.
The bags featured the tournament artwork, the Hope Totes branding, the event date and Holy Cow Promo as the sponsor.
And yes—we went with pink golf balls. Because if you're going to do something, you might as well make it noticeable.
We've all seen the sponsor banners. Logo here. Logo there. Logo on the golf cart. Logo on the sign. And there's nothing wrong with that.
But if you're spending money to support a local event, why not think about how your brand can actually add something to the experience?
That's what we tried to do with Hope Totes. We weren't trying to make the event about Holy Cow Promo. We wanted to give golfers something useful, have a little fun with the branding and, at the same time, show our support for a Buffalo organization doing good work.
That's a much better kind of marketing to us.
Why we like supporting Buffalo
Holy Cow Promo has been part of the Buffalo business community since 2016. We've worked with businesses throughout the area, from companies looking for employee gifts and event giveaways to organizations trying to figure out how to make their brand stand out.
Over the years, we've also learned something: Buffalo businesses support Buffalo businesses.
People here notice when a company shows up. They notice when you sponsor the tournament. They notice when you support the fundraiser. They notice when you buy from another local business.
And those relationships matter.
And that's really what this was about
Could we have simply put the Holy Cow Promo logo on a golf sign? Sure. But where's the fun in that?
Instead, we got to work with the Hope Totes team, create something specifically for their tournament and put a product in the hands of golfers that was actually relevant to the day.
That's the part of our business we enjoy.
Someone gives us a brand, an event, an audience or a crazy idea... and we figure out what to do with it.
Sometimes it's a golf tournament. Sometimes it's a corporate event. Sometimes it's an employee appreciation program. Sometimes it's a client gift. And sometimes it's something we've never seen before.
That's why we don't really think of ourselves as a company that just sells promotional products. We help businesses find the right stuff to make their brands memorable.
A big thank-you to Hope Totes
We're grateful to the Hope Totes team for letting Holy Cow Promo be part of the 2026 tournament.
We had fun with it. We hope the golfers had fun with it. And we're already looking forward to finding another excuse to get involved next time.
Because supporting Buffalo businesses and organizations isn't something we want to do only when there's a marketing opportunity. It's part of being a Buffalo business.
And if we can help along the way with a few golf balls, some tees and a pretty cool bag... even better.
Chipping in for Hope. 🏌️♀️
